About Us

Tiro is our family name from an island paradise in the clear blue waters of the South Pacific. Tribe is family and all things Africa, where I was born and raised. Growing up and living under these wild open spaces, it has and will always be a part of me.

Tiro Tribe was inspired by my desire to share my love of Africa and its beautiful colours and soul. Our hand-crafted leather pet accessories, bags and pouches are individually hand-made in Kenya from local, vibrant, colourful and ethically sourced fabrics and supporting local community to grow and flourish. Our Beach Style Collections bring the beautiful traditional textiles from the East African coast , kikoi, kitenge and kanga to you. 15% of all profits go back to our team and artisans to build and support and empower community. A little goes a long way!

From the idyllic peace of a tiny atoll in the middle of the Pacific to sheltering under acacia trees in Africa – both represent the essence of some of the most important things in life.
